Google For Lawyers MCLE Webinar Set for February 2, 2011
Internationally recognized speakers and authors Carole Levitt and Mark Rosch will present the "Google For Lawyers: Essential Search Tips and Productivity Tools" MCLE webinar live, via the Internet, on Wednesday, February 2, 2011; from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern Time. All attendees will receive a free copy of Levitt and Rosch's best-selling book of the same name on which the program is based.
Free and low-cost tools available from Google are leveling the playing field in Internet research and technology. From lesser-known resources such as Google Scholar’s case law database and free office applications such as Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Calendar, to services such as Google Voice and Google Translate, these tools can help solo and small firm lawyers compete with large firms and their research and technology budgets - and raise their productivity. Using a step-by-step presentation method, this eye-opening program will show attendees how to use these tools for a more productive practice AND how to go beyond Google’s search box to become an advanced Internet searcher.
